01 · The insight

An insight became a system.

The story of SATIS began with the realisation that the challenges of the energy future cannot be solved merely by adding more generation capacity.

Increasing renewable capacity alone does not resolve the timing gap between generation and use, the question of energy storage, exposure to imports and prices, or the integrity of origin verification.

A system can become more resilient and transparent when generation, storage, verifiable origin, real use and economic value operate in coordination. SATIS seeks to build this relationship.

A system can be understood through its technology. The true purpose of a paradigm, however, can only be understood when we also know the thought that brought it to life.

A vision alone does not build a system.

SATIS defines the long-term direction. SATIS Investment is responsible for establishing the financing, organisational and relationship foundations required to begin and implement the system progressively.

SAUSD and SAEUR are the project's current Ethereum-based financing instruments. They are neither the complete SATIS system nor its final products.
