Heartbeat and basic energy
Imagine your heart beating.
[Bam - bam-bam.]
For your heart to be able to do this, it needs energy first and foremost. In tiny, minute units - exactly as much as is sufficient for your heart to function in that particular moment. It needs no more than that.
This energy is yours. You have control over this energy, over this heartbeat, as you choose, because the foundation of your life is a single heartbeat.
You can sleep, if you wish - so to speak, you save energy.
But now the biologists will surely arrive:
- Ah, that is not true; even then we are using our bodies intensively!
All right, I understand.
Or there are the moments when, with the help of adrenaline, our bodies consume a little more. But the point is that we regulate it. We always use exactly as much as we need.
I call this a fundamental right of life.
Perhaps I have just invented that expression, but even if I have, it is still what our sense of justice would tell us. Because it is ours, and we are the ones who have the right to decide over it.
In my world, the energy required for the basic conditions of human life is a right inherent in life itself. I do not believe that we should have to pay for it. Life on Earth was not designed that way. Everything and everyone uses the basic energy needed for life, and when a being's time of living comes to an end, that energy returns to the river of energy as an organic part of it. The living beings of the future then continue to develop from this.
But let us not go too far in a spiritual direction.
The layers of the energy river
How does this system work today?
Let us ask the question.
Imagine energy as a river that is now tangled, layered, blended together and polluted. This river contains fossil energy, hydropower, wind energy, photovoltaic energy, nuclear energy and also today's great star, which is preparing to join it: fusion energy.
As this river becomes denser, it also becomes more obscure and less transparent.
The following idea has been planted in the public mind:
- Do not come any closer, because this river is dangerous! You do not understand it, and you will only cause trouble if you interfere!
This has been repeated to people ever since we have understood energy... No, not understood it. Perhaps merely known of it.
And people accept it as fact because they hear it so often.
Even I believed it for a while. Although I have always been preoccupied by the thought that if someone can describe and create something, then it must also be possible to learn it, apply it and improve it.
But that is not the point right now.
Let us return to our imaginary river of energy.
Someone is standing on the bank of the energy river. Let that person be a self-appointed gatekeeper. He says:
- Aha! I will dig a channel from this river, and then part of the energy will flow towards me.
Then more gatekeepers arrive at the riverbank, appearing at one another's invitation, and each of them digs a small channel of their own. In this way, they secure their access to the energy river and to what it contains: energy.
Because they control the small branch of energy that they have cut, they also control the energy flowing through it. It no longer matters how that energy originally entered the river.
People also need energy for their basic functioning. Taking advantage of this, the gatekeepers are only willing to provide essential energy to everyone under certain conditions.
Let us suppose that they ask one and a half dollars for one unit of energy.
This means that for the very first stroke of the spade made on the bank of the energy river, they immediately receive 0.5 dollars in pure profit.
But we know human nature:
- Why does he have more while I do not? Let us take it from him, and then it will be ours!
By doing so, however, people compromise their access to the energy river and their direct relationship with the gatekeepers.
That does not suit the gatekeepers!
They sit down together and decide that they do not need direct relationships. So they build further barriers.
A grid operator is needed.
A balancing-group manager is needed.
A labyrinth is needed - see: the energy market.
A trader is needed.
An aggregator is needed.
A producer is needed.
And only after all of them may the consumer arrive.
What is also needed is an opaque system that consumers cannot see and do not understand. They know it exists, but they also feel that understanding it would be too difficult, so they do not even begin.
The problem is that every one of these layers has its own costs and its own profit interest, to which it clings. Yet the added value of these layers strongly converges towards zero.
This is how the present system takes shape.
For one unit of energy, we provide an average of 78 units of fiscal components, even though only a few layers have been added.
This is bad for everyone.
I apologise: it is good for one person - or, more precisely, for one particular group. The gatekeepers.
Everything therefore flows towards them. They regulate everything, and they decide who receives energy, when they receive it and how much they receive.
This is why the energy stability of today's world has become completely distorted.
There are regions where people have never even seen a power line, while elsewhere we can relieve ourselves in automatic toilets. There is a continent where no fewer than 300 million people do not receive even the basic energy necessary for life.
And yet this river, sea or field of energy is present everywhere.
The first layer, however, consists of the gatekeepers, who build the energy dams and energy taps with our own money - not theirs, but ours. And when we pay, we receive energy at a higher price than should be necessary for our basic functioning.
What does SATIS want?
And then we may ask the question:
What does SATIS want?
To destroy?
To tear apart?
To create confusion?
What, then?
Here is the point: the gatekeepers can see the essence of SATIS and the value it adds. But they can also see that it may be harmful to their interests, that it places their assets at risk and drives them into fear.
Do you hear how dramatic and forceful those words sound?
Dramatic effect is one of the most effective tools of manipulation.
But no.
SATIS is a new and more unified system in which basic energy - and I emphasise: the basic energy required for life - is a fundamental right and belongs to everyone.
That is its first part. In my view, it is the most important part.
The second part is to illuminate the opaque system and make it understandable within the framework of a token-based system.
What do I mean by this?
If I walk to the bank of the energy river, take a clean, transparent glass and dip it into the river, I can clearly see what is inside the glass.
I can see through it.
I understand it.
I examine it.
And I make a decision.
SATIS encloses this glass in a token and makes visible what the glass contains. It shows what kind of energy is inside it: fossil, green, nuclear or fusion energy.
I can see it clearly, and I can decide whether to use it and, if I do, what to use it for.
But this is not the only thing we can achieve with such a system.
For example, when a product is manufactured and placed on the market, I can also see what kind of energy was used to produce it and how much. Here too, I can make my own decision about whether I want that product or not.
In the energy-storage market, the main principle will no longer be:
- Produce, connect, and once you have connected, I will buy your energy from you at whatever price I choose.
This is how negative energy prices arise today, while elsewhere there is not enough energy to sustain life.
Nor should we forget that it is not only I who say this. Leading voices in the economy have also recognised that the next stage of global fiscal evolution will not belong to money in its present form, but to energy-based currencies.
The path taken over the past fifteen years points in this direction as well.
Digital gold - BTC - came into existence. The world needed it, because we can say that it became the catalyst for the next stage of fiscal evolution.
Today it is described as digital gold.
Yet from an energy perspective, it is an extremely aggressive and energy-wasting system. It creates net value from gross energy.
But it was necessary.
That is the essence of evolution.
We create something.
We use it.
We are happy with it.
Then, after a while, we begin to make it better.
This is what set the SATIS Paradigm in motion.
SATIS currently has a glass in which every detail of the energy inside can be seen clearly. It tokenises that energy and makes it accessible to anyone.
The SATIS Paradigm is the hand that holds this glass.
And it automatically generates net value for the people of the present and the future.
From knowledge to partnership
SATIS, however, does not regard the participants in the current energy system as enemies.
A distinction must be made between the flaws of the system and the people whose knowledge, experience and daily work keep it operating.
Grid operators, producers, balancing-group managers, aggregators, traders, engineers, developers and regulatory professionals all possess knowledge and experience without which the energy system of the future cannot be built.
SATIS does not want to erase this knowledge.
It does not want to invalidate everything we have built so far, nor does it want to sweep aside the people who have contributed to the functioning of the present system.
Quite the opposite.
SATIS sees these people and this knowledge as potential partners - partners whose experience, constructive expertise and practical understanding can help us create the system of the future together.
SATIS does not want to take the place of the current participants.
It wants the knowledge accumulated so far to become the foundation of a more transparent, verifiable, fairer and more humane system.
Cooperation, however, cannot mean abandoning our principles.
It cannot mean that transparency, verifiability, integrity or fairer access to basic energy may become matters for negotiation.
SATIS is open to every person and organisation that is prepared to think, create and build together on the basis of these principles.
Because the energy system of the future must not be created against one another.
We must build it upon one another's knowledge.
The first stone laid
Just as Nikola Tesla - and many others before and after him - laid down a stone on the road of progress, SATIS does not seek to claim the construction of the entire road as its own achievement.
Its aim is simply to add one stone of its own to this construction.
A stone that may become part of the foundation of the road now being built. A stone upon which others may later build, which can be developed further and which may bring us closer to a more transparent, fairer and more humane energy system.
Perhaps it will be only one stone among many.
But every road begins with a single stone being laid.
